“Katting Creative Club” the name is just created in 2018, but the unity of the youngsters have a story of their unnamed club since 1983, when India won the world cup. The inspiration and the fire of cricket fever motivate them to start playing cricket. They started the game with Rubber Ball and Coconut Leaf stick as a bat and years passed Katting boys created a team and challenges to other village boys. Here we started to think about the concept of a “CLUB”
Katting, Cherunniyoor, Thannimoodu, Vennicodu,Ayanthi these are major part of our small Cherunniyoor village and the boys from all over this place are tried many times with many names to create a registered Club , unfortunately the nothing is end with a positive result. But We developed our skills and show to everyone that we are one of the challenging boys for all format of sports, Games and Arts.
The fire was there, next generation started to challenge the skills to outside of the Cherunniyoor village and they achieve many successful victories in Sports, Games and Arts. Katting Boys always be a challenge to any other leading clubs around.
Now the dream comes true, We registered successfully our club named as “KATTING CREATIVE CLUB” and conducting a big sports event named “Cherunniyoor Premier League”(CPL) first time in the history Thiruvananthapuram which is same like the Indian premier League- A Mini copy paste of IPL.
